BBC Proms in the Park Manchester

For the second year running, beautifully restored Heaton Park will host Manchester's sparkling Last Night of the Proms celebrations. Bring along a picnic and sit back and relax, as the world-renowned BBC Philharmonic take to the stage for an evening of popular classics starring Britain's top selling female singer, Katie Melua. A spectacular live link up to the Royal Albert Hall will give you the chance to sing along to those Last Night favourites before a stunning firework finale. Hosted by BBC Radio Manchester's Heather Stott, the live music begins at 6.30pm with Manchester vocalist Cole Page performing swing and big band favourites with his 17 piece orchestra. The Proms Concert starts at 7.30pm and ends approximately 10.30pm. Tickets are also available in person at Heaton Park Farm Centre (cash/cheque only).
