A mass picnic by the lake! |

| Platt Fields Park, which is ideally situated in central Manchester, hosts a free mass picnic/banquet for 1st to 3d June. Round the lakeside in Platt Fields there will be outdoor theatre, circus, strolling musicians, magic, puppetry, games and activities, delicious food and good company in a heady mix for two summer evenings. And on Sunday afternoon, we are joined by Exodus presenting an afternoon of world music and dance from the brightest talents of the very diverse refugee communities in Greater Manchester; with workshop activities at the Mosscare Marquee. Bring food, picnic blanket, candles and whatever extravaganza you wish and we provide the entertainment. But if you come without food, it’s O.K. as there will also be food available to buy on site. |
